The Massachusetts Restaurant Association is very pleased to announce its 2023 Hall of Fame Inductees. Nominations were submitted from around the state for both operators and business partners. Hall of Fame candidates possess a track record of operational success and execution of the dining experience while also being pillars of their communities:
Ed Doyle, President RealFood Hospitality, Strategy & Design, based in Newton MA, with offices in Orlando, Scottsdale and Maine. The original founder of RealFood Consulting, RealFood is positioned as a premier hospitality strategy and design firm, helping clients to define, design and deliver unique and memorable hospitality experiences. His culinary accomplishments have received equal attention with features in Food and Wine, Restaurant Business, and Food Arts magazines.
Olive Chase, President The Casual Gourmet on Cape Cod. The Casual Gourmet is one of Cape Cod’s largest, oldest and most successful catering companies with a broad range of clientele that includes noted corporations and prestigious charitable organizations. Olive is known throughout the catering industry as an expert in the field, bringing the very best in cutting edge catering to the Cape. Olive has served on the Executive Committee of Massachusetts Restaurant Association and as the Chair of the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce. The Casual Gourmet has received countless awards from industry outlets including “The Knot’s Best of Weddings Hall of Fame” and by Wedding Wire as one of Cape Cod and the Islands’ best caterers every year for the past decade.
Paul DeLorenzo, General Manager Danversport in Danvers, MA. Owned and operated by the DeLorenzo family, Danversport started as a vision more than 50 years ago when the family imagined creating a special place for the community to celebrate life’s joyous occasions. A destination location for dinner, dancing and live music. Over the years, Danversport has flourished and grown to accommodate weddings and special events of all sizes. Paul has been a tireless contributor to the Massachusetts Restaurant Association and the Massachusetts Restaurant Education Foundation.
Ann Marie Escobar, Brand President & COO at Legal Sea Foods Restaurant Group. Ann Marie started her restaurant career as a hostess followed by 40 years in the industry. Ann Marie’s influence in the concept development of Back Bay Restaurant Group paved her way to becoming a senior executive, industry leader and owner in the company. Ann Marie went on to serve as Chief Operating Officer and Brand President of Legal Sea Foods. Ann Marie was a mentor, influencer and confidante to owners and employees throughout our industry. *Posthumous induction*
